Nonprofit Organizations
Several MCBB attorneys have either led nonprofit organizations or served on their Board of Directors and, therefore, have first-hand experience with the practical and legal challenges nonprofit organizations face. Our attorneys partner with nonprofits, providing guidance from daily operational issues to best practices, ethical standards of conduct and effective governance.
We regularly advise and teach courses for the Utah Nonprofits Association. MCBB assists nonprofits with incorporation and creation documents, as well as help establish a nonprofit’s ethical and accountability practices, financial transparency, prudent fiduciary oversight and legal, ethical and responsible fundraising.
In addition, MCBB offers special flat-fee and nonprofit rates to assist executive directors and human resource professionals manage employees and reduce risks for potential employment-related claims, charges and lawsuits. We offer nonprofit clients efficient, cost-effective service so that a nonprofit organization and its Board of Directors can operate and govern with confidence and demonstrate that it deserves the public and donor’s trust, is serious about advancing its mission and is striving towards excellence.
