Steven C. Bednar is one of the founding partners of Manning Curtis Bradshaw & Bednar where he practices employment law. Mr. Bednar also teaches Trial Advocacy as an adjunct professor at BYU Law School, drawing on more than thirty years of federal, state, and administrative litigation experience in virtually every area of employment law. Much of Mr. Bednar’s practice is devoted to providing practical consulting to employers in all areas of employment-related regulation.

Mr. Bednar served as outside employment counsel to Utah’s largest private employer, Intermountain Healthcare for 22 years, from 1995 to 2017, prior to a 3-year leave of absence for missionary service from 2017-2020. Mr. Bednar has represented and directed representation of many national, regional and local visible clients such as Avalon Health Care, Nevada Gold Mines (fka Barrick Gold), Cookietree Bakeries, EnergySolutions, Grand America Hotel & Little America Hotels, IM Flash Technologies, Inc., LifeVantage Corp., Montage Deer Valley, R.C. Willey Home Furnishings, Inc., SelectHealth, Sinclair Oil Company, Smith’s Food & Drug Centers, Inc., Snowbasin Resort, Stein Eriksen Lodge, Sun Valley Resort, and Workfront, Inc.

Mr. Bednar graduated magna cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University where he served on the Editorial Board of the B.Y.U.
